Executive Coach and Facilitator, Head of Academy
Verena has served as an executive coach, mentor, and facilitator for over 10 years in various learning, talent development, and training programs. She works globally, with individuals and teams, in areas such as communication, motivation, and problem-solving using Design Thinking.
Since 2016 she has been working at Autoris in Munich and Boston, and has been instrumental in creating and teaching the ACE it!® Method for leadership, coaching, and talent development.
Verena leads the Autoris Academy and runs our open programs — among them Growth Essentials and Coaching Skills for Leaders — for leaders, managers, executives, and HR professionals from international corporates, start-ups, family businesses, institutions, business schools, and NGOs.
Alongside the open programs she designs and runs company workshops and custom cohorts inside client organizations — sometimes a single team, sometimes an entire leadership population over several months. Much of that work is repeat business: organizations come back with the next cohort, or with the next question.

Verena is involved in various research and publication projects, and has authored numerous articles and several books.
Verena contributes to our ongoing research into how people learn, what motivates them, and what makes development stick — the evidence behind every program we run.

Books →In 2017, Verena established her own career coaching business, providing support to clients from all walks of life as they explore their strengths and navigate new career paths.
She also serves as a coach for the Exist Program, which assists women in entrepreneurship at universities and research institutions, sponsored by the German Federal Economics Ministry.
In addition, she designs programs for couples and families, aimed at helping them navigate challenges, enhance their communication skills, and foster a positive learning environment.
Verena Lauffs Career Coaching →A teacher's degree in languages, social studies, and psychology, followed by work as a consultant in the education and communications sector before she moved into coaching.
Verena has studied and worked with people of all ages and diverse backgrounds in Germany, the USA, Canada, France, Belgium, and Lebanon. She lives in the Munich area.
That range shapes how she works: the same question rarely lands the same way twice, and a group of engineers in Munich needs something different from a founding team in Beirut. She works in German and English.
